Temporary Visual Editor

Partner with the Elle Decor Visual Team on all photo shoots and photo research. Collaborate closely with editors and the Art Department on all shoots and photo research for print and digital. Commission photographers and oversee all aspects of shoot production, with a focus on home interior photography, requiring a visual editor with expertise in this area. Attend photo shoots and provide on-set art direction. Source and coordinate props for shoots. Manage budgets and shoot estimates. Handle all production logistics, including invoices, credits, estimates, advances, contracts, call sheets, and insurance. Assist with image processing and asset management, including metadata application, image archiving, and PDF creation.

This is a full-time position, located in New York.
