Overview
The Studio Workspace Residency, offered by the WS Workshop, invites artists to apply for a chance to use their studio space to create new work. This residency is designed for artists looking to dedicate uninterrupted time to their practice in a creative environment. Reward
The Studio Workspace Residency at Women's Studio Workshop (WSW) offers artists an opportunity to create new work in a supportive environment. While artists are responsible for their own travel, materials, meals, and personal expenses, WSW provides housing and studio space at no cost.
Eligibility
The Studio Workspace Residency at Women's Studio Workshop is open to all women, trans, intersex, nonbinary, and genderfluid artists at any stage of their careers. There are no nationality restrictions; artists from around the world are encouraged to apply. Applicants should have experience in one or more of the studio disciplines offered, including intaglio, letterpress, papermaking, screenprinting, darkroom photography, or ceramics.
