Staff Photographer

The Washington Post is seeking a highly accomplished, versatile photojournalist to join our award-winning, industry-leading team. The ideal candidate will conceive, research and develop visual assignments across a wide range of subjects—from politics to lifestyle—with a strong visual voice and a passion for storytelling. Applicants should have a minimum of three years’ experience working in a professional newsroom, superior news judgment and excellent visual storytelling skills.

This position is based in our Washington, D.C., newsroom and will require some night and weekend shifts to meet deadlines and respond to breaking news. The salary range for this position is: $92,600.00 - $138,800.00 USD. The actual salary within this range will depend on individual skills, experience and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
