The Washington Post is seeking several imaginative, collaborative and ambitious editors to elevate and drive visual storytelling. They are hiring senior editors for visuals to work with four departments. These editors will conceive and orchestrate best-in-class visual presentations, help educate others on how to scale this thinking and must be adept at building and fostering relationships. This initial group of senior visuals editors will join with current visual enterprise editors to cover six of eight coverage departments — National, Politics & Government, Futures, International, Local and Investigative. Senior visuals editors will be responsible for coming up with story ideas and seeing them through to fruition as well as fostering experimentation in storytelling across platforms.
Based in Washington DC, the starting salary range for this position is: $154,000.00 — $205,300.00. The actual starting salary within this range will depend on individual skills, experience and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
