RPS Environmental Bursary

Overview

The TPA/RPS Environmental Bursary is a collaborative initiative between The Royal Photographic Society and The Photographic Angle, designed to support a photographic project that promotes environmental awareness. This bursary aims to empower photographers to create compelling visual narratives that address pressing environmental concerns. By providing financial assistance and professional support, the program seeks to foster creative interpretations and documentary work that inspire public engagement with environmental issues.

Reward

The bursary provides £4,000 to assist with travel expenses, photographic equipment, and other project-related costs. Upon completion of the project, recipients will have the opportunity to have a portfolio of images printed by Metro Imaging. The program encourages both creative and documentary approaches to environmental photography.

Eligibility

Applications are open to individuals living or studying in the United Kingdom who have a talent for photography and an interest in environmental issues. There are no specific age or educational requirements, but applicants should demonstrate a commitment to the subject matter and the ability to complete the proposed project
