Photography 4 Humanity is an international initiative that calls on photographers worldwide to bring to life the power of human rights through their images. The 2025 Global Contest promotes climate justice, recognizing that climate change is a profound human rights issue. The competition seeks compelling images that capture the human face of the escalating climate crisis, including those affected and those working to mitigate its effects.
The winner will receive a $5,000 USD cash prize. Additionally, the Global Prize recipient, top 10 finalists, and top 20 honorable mentions will have their work exhibited globally via UN.org, providing significant international exposure.
The competition is open to individuals aged 18 and over, regardless of nationality. All submitted photographs must relate to people being impacted by climate change or those trying to reverse and/or mitigate its effects. Images must have been taken between August 1, 2024, and August 5, 2025.
