The Abbey Road Music Photography Awards is a prestigious, free-to-enter global competition—now in its fourth year—celebrating the art and craft of music photography. Open to anyone, from emerging amateurs to seasoned pros, it showcases powerful moments from festivals, portrait sessions, live gigs, and even a guest “Club Culture” category. With over 22,000 submissions from 30 countries in 2024 and a panel including legends like Rankin and Nile Rodgers, it’s become a leading platform for music-focused imagery.
Winners enjoy more than just bragging rights: they’re celebrated at a high-profile awards ceremony at Abbey Road Studios each October. Prizes also include global exhibition opportunities—like a showcase at Outernet London—along with coveted mentorship sessions involving music and photography heavyweights such as Rankin, Sacha Lecca, and Simon Wheatley. Each victor also receives a uniquely crafted MPA trophy and ongoing support through the Abbey Road Music Photography Accelerator.
