LUMA Rencontres Dummy Book Award
Overview
Initiated in 2015, the LUMA Rencontres Dummy Book Award is a collaborative initiative between Les Rencontres d’Arles and the LUMA Foundation. The award aims to support photographers and artists in publishing their first photobook by providing financial assistance and professional guidance. It emphasizes innovative and experimental editorial forms, encouraging participants to push the boundaries of traditional photobook publishing.
Reward
The winner will receive a €25,000 production grant, which includes €3,000 in royalties, to assist in publishing their photobook. The selected dummy book, along with shortlisted projects, will be exhibited from July 7 to October 5, 2025, as part of the official program of Les Rencontres d’Arles.
Eligibility
The award is open to photographers and artists worldwide who utilize photography in their work. Applicants must submit a previously unpublished dummy book. Special attention is given to experimental and innovative publication forms.
