Overview
Established to provide grants, visibility, and career-enhancing validation to artists demonstrating a serious commitment to their work, the Hopper Prize awards grants of $4,500 to artists working in any media, with recipients selected based on artistic excellence and potential.
Reward
Four artists will each receive an unrestricted cash grant of $4,500, and eight artists will each receive $1,000. Additionally, 30 artists will have their work archived on hopperprize.org, with selected submissions featured on the Hopper Prize Instagram feed and in their online Journal.
