Female in Focus

Now open for its sixth edition, Female in Focus is a celebration of the remarkable talent and creativity of women photographers from around the globe. For this edition of the award, Nikon and BJP are inviting photographers to respond to the theme of ‘On the Cusp’. This theme looks at both personal and international turning points, whether that be moments of revolution, revelation, or transformation. It considers ideas such as ageing, climate change, rapid developments in technology, and political shifts. The anticipation of what comes next.

Two winning series will be exhibited as part of two group shows at PhotoIreland in Dublin and at 10 14 Gallery in London. Receive a Nikon Z Series mirrorless camera, and two NIKKOR Z lenses of your choice, with thanks to Nikon. Your work will be shared with an extensive national and international press list, and will be featured on 1854.photography.
