Environmental Photographer of the Year

The Environmental Photographer of the Year 2025 competition (EPOTY) showcases the most inspirational environmental photography from around the globe. It harnesses the power of storytelling to raise awareness for the issues that put our planet at risk and to highlight more sustainable approaches. The competition is free to enter for professional and amateur photographers of all ages, from all over the world.

The winner receives a £1,000 cash prize and an interview with CIWEM’s Environment Magazine, to be shared on CIWEM’s and EPOTY’s social media channels and websites. They also receive a feature article with the Brave Blue World Foundation (BBWF). The winner’s profile will be promoted on the websites and socials of Arup and BBWF and at BBWF’s global screenings.
