The Visa d’or franceinfo: Award for the Best Digital News Story is an annual competition recognizing innovative digital journalism. Organized by Visa pour l’Image – Perpignan, with support from major French public media organizations, the award honors original digital news stories that provide insightful perspectives on current events. The competition encourages the use of modern digital tools to enhance storytelling in journalism.
Reward
The winner receives a €8,000 prize. The award focuses on digital news stories that utilize virtual reality, interactivity, and editorial video work released via social media. Submissions should offer an original angle and perspective on the news, demonstrating innovation in digital storytelling
Eligibility
The competition is open to individuals aged 18 and over, regardless of nationality. Submissions must be digital news stories published online between July 25, 2024, and July 25, 2025, in either French or English.
