The British Wildlife Photography Awards celebrate the rich biodiversity of the UK by showcasing outstanding wildlife photography. The competition is open to both amateur and professional photographers worldwide, provided the images are captured within the UK, Isle of Man, or Channel Islands. Winning photographs are featured in a published collection and may be included in a touring exhibition across the UK.
The overall winner receives £3,500 in cash, which includes the category prize. Additional prizes are awarded across various categories, contributing to a total prize fund of nearly £10,000. Winning images are also published in a coffee-table book and may be part of a UK-wide exhibition tour.
The competition is open to individuals of any nationality. The Adult Competition is for those aged 18 and over as of June 8, 2025, while the Youth Competition is for individuals aged 17 or under on the same date.
